BRIEF

Cover and inner page design for The Little Red Riding Hood, a reimagining of the classic tale for a young, pre-teen audience. My goal was to balance the story's timeless narrative with a visual language suited to an older childhood readership.

WHAT I DID

Developed a warm, nostalgic palette that references the fairy tale's emotional roots while speaking to a more mature young audience. I reinterpreted the story's iconic elements (the girl, the wolf, the forest) through a distinct illustration style that softens sharp lines into fluid strokes, and used select interior spreads to bring the story's pivotal moments to life

RESULT

With this, the design aims to bridge classic fairy tale aesthetics and a contemporary pre-teen sensibility. The illustration style gives the project a distinctive identity, making familiar characters feel freshly interpreted while staying true to the story's atmosphere, giving this timeless story a visual language suited to its new audience.
